About The Matrix

    • The Plot

    Neo (Reeves) is a small time computer hacker, recruited by a cyber terrorist organization to take down what is known as "The Matrix"; the world that is around them. It's entirely artificial, and Neo begins to realize he might be "The One", destined to take out the fake world.

    Reception

    The film was given universal applause on realise, and is recognized as one of the best films of the 90s. Yahoo gave it an A, and RottenTomatos has it with 87% fresh.

    My Opinion

    A wonderful action packed film with a very cool, albeit a tad silly plotline. Reeves is in a roll he really suits; not some emotional super drama, but hard, choriographed action. Unfortunate that the second and third films were so distinictly average.
